Nov. IAR Challenge

There is a challenge over at the I Am Roses blog to create with your favorite flower.  Mine is the carnation.

On this project, I used carnations, leaves, and stamen by I Am Roses.  This card was also made for the Graphic 45 November challenge on Facebook to make a thank you card.  I used Graphic 45's French Country papers, stamp, and chipboard piece (behind the flower cluster).  Other products used is a Spellbinders die, Papertrey Ink thank you stamp, black seam binding and lace trim.

SSS Monday Challenge: Patchwork card

I wanted to participate in the Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge of creating a patchwork project:

The papers are from the Lyric collection by Prima and were die cut from a Papertrey Ink die to create a patchwork design.  I was inspired by the images on the Lyric papers for the design of this card. I wanted to use the Tim Holtz Ticket die, and the Prima stamp matched it pretty close.  Other stamps used came from the Teresa Collins Memories set.  Butterfly, wooden button, and crystal flourish is also by Prima.  Handmade a flower and added lace to finish it off.

Here's a video on the making of this card:

Make it Monday #139

Hello!  Here is a card I made for Papertrey Ink's Make it Monday #139: Stamped Square Frames.

The flourish to create the frame came from the Vintage Labels stamp set.  In the background, I stamped Background Basics: Text Style and Fancy Flourishes.  The main image and sentiment came from the Butterfly Dreams set.  To create the overlay frame, I die cut Spellbinders Ovals and Decorative Ovals together.  I stamped the frame flourish atop to create a seamless picture.

Other products used: Papertrey Ink Scallop border, Webster's Pages designer paper, I Am Roses flowers, lace, and flat back pearls.

Thanks for taking a peek!

Prima Wood Icon Box

I created this box more of necessity, but also had fun putting it together.  Here are the fun goodies I used before I put the box together:

Here is the completed box:

I made this box to have a place to put the Prima wood icons.  It's made of medium weight chipboard and covered with black cardstock.  The Prima paper I used is Romance Novel, and I used various Prima goodies, along with Tim Holtz items, Papertrey Ink stamps, ribbon, lace and doily.

I also have a video if you're interested in seeing more:
