Prima Day 6: Relic and Artifact Ornament

Here is another project made for Prima's 12 Days of Christmas challenge.  Day 6 encourages us to use treasures from the Relics and Artifacts collection.

Again, I used the pillow box die and die cut an opening.  I have the relic hanging from a chain inside the pillow box.  The opening is framed with some glitter paper.  Behind the relic is a gold Prima leaf.  The "Merry Christmas" chipboard piece is from the Victorian Christmas collection.  Added some lace along the bottom and a Prima flower on top.  Some twine is tied to the chain inside and is used to hang the ornament.

Prima Day 3: Ornament

For my project today, I made an ornament using the Tim Holtz pillow box die.  Then I die cut a circle opening to insert Finnabair's metal embellishment. Prima's 12 Days of Christmas challenge, Day 3 is to use Finnabair's products.

The embellishments are from the Victorian Christmas collection: flower, "Merry Christmas" wood icon, chipboard piece, berries, and red glittered leaves.  The gold lace is also by Prima.
Here is a side view:

Prima Day 1 Christmas card

Hello!  I've been busy creating trying to catch up to the challenges on the Prima blog.  They've started their 12 Days of Christmas challenge and I've created a card for Day 1: Victorian Christmas.

I love the Victorian Christmas collection.  I used the A4 paper pad, flowers, and a wood icon piece.  The sentiment was stamped, the tag die cut from the paper collection, and added a strip of gold glitter paper on the side and a glittered snowflake.

Thank you for stopping by!

Thank You Card

I'm really enjoying playing with my new Altenew stamps.  This card features the Painted Flowers set.  I'll have many more to share.

After stamping, I used the butterfly die from Memory Box to create interest to the focal stamping.  The Thanks sentiment is a die from Little Yellow Bicycle that I bought from Hobby Lobby.  Added some ribbon and pink rhinestones to complete the card.

I am participating in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Thanks/Thanksgiving.

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek!

Archivist Mini Album

Hello! I have made a mini album using Prima's Archivist collection.  Such a beautiful collection, and I see myself making more projects.

When making the cover, I was inspired by Prima's Product Picks for October.

Here are some more close ups:

I also have a video if you're interested in seeing the inside:

Christmas Shaker Card

Hello all!  This is my first attempt at making a shaker card.  It really was a lot of fun to make.

It was inspired by the picture for the Papertrey Ink October Blog Hop.
The designer paper is by My Mind's Eye.  I stamped the background with sentiments from the Inside & Out: Holiday stamp set.  The ornament was die cut using the Tag Sale #4 die.  The opening was cut using a Spellbinders circle die.
The main sentiment is from the Stylish Sentiments Holiday stamp set.  I rounded the corners and popped it up.  I also used the Scarlet Jewel Satin ribbon tied in a bow, added some bells and greenery from a Martha Stewart punch.  The sequins I purchased from the local craft store.
Thanks so much for stopping by.

CAS Christmas Card

Getting a head start in making Christmas cards.  I used Papertrey Ink's Make it Monday #226: Creating with Stripes as my starting point.

Not having any stripe stamps, I looked hard into my PTI stash.  I found a stamp in the Button Boutique that kind of fit the bill.  Unconventional, but you gotta work with what you've got, right?  I made this relatively simple so I can mass produce and mail for the holidays.

Here are the supplies that I used for this card:
Stamps: (All Papertrey Ink) Button Boutique, Stylish Sentiments: Holiday, Countdown Details, Love Lives Here: Holiday
Dies: Wonderful Words: Holiday Die Collection.
Ink: Memento
Paper: Paper Studio Heavy Weight Holiday Cardstock

This card is also for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Clean and Simple Christmas.
