Happy Birthday SSS

I made a card for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Happy Birthday.

I love stamping on pattern paper.  The designer paper is from Prima's Stationer's Desk.  I stamped PTI's Polka Dot Basics II on the left panel.  On the grey paper, I stamped PTI's Love Birds, and an image from the Boutique Borders: Sympathy stamp set. The sentiment is from the Say it in Style set and is heat embossed in black.  Layered some papers from Prima and added a brad in the corner.

Birthday Card for a Young Boy

Last month was my nephew's birthday, and I made a card for him.

The paper collection is Prima's All Star Collection.  I also used the Tags and Tickets, stickers, and flair button.  Here is a close up look:

Papertrey Ink May 2014 Blog Hop

I made a card for my niece who turned 1 this month.

The papers and stickers to spell out her name are from Prima.  The stamp set is from Papertrey Ink:  Birthday Style and Big Birthday Wishes.  Added flowers, satin ribbon, and some crochet trim to complete the card.  The inspiration from the Papertrey Ink blog is to use Aqua and Melon:

Papertrey Ink birthday card

I made a birthday/anniversary card for Papertrey Ink.  The card uses paper from the Graphic 45 Sweet Sentiments collection.  I also added a Prima metal clockface and flower, as well as some seam binding ribbon, string, and a fabric flower.

I decorated the inside of the card as well:

I also used Papertrey Ink's vintage cream and melon berry cardstock, plum pudding satin ribbon, as well as various dies.  I intentionally used 7 different stamp sets on this card.  Can you guess which ones they are?  Hint: the 7th stamp is from the Trademarks stamp set that I used on the back of the card.

Love creating with Papertrey Ink, and especially together with my other favorite goodies from Graphic 45 and Prima Flowers.  I enjoyed in participating in the festivities.  I wish them continued success in the years to come.

Make it Monday #139

Hello!  Here is a card I made for Papertrey Ink's Make it Monday #139: Stamped Square Frames.

The flourish to create the frame came from the Vintage Labels stamp set.  In the background, I stamped Background Basics: Text Style and Fancy Flourishes.  The main image and sentiment came from the Butterfly Dreams set.  To create the overlay frame, I die cut Spellbinders Ovals and Decorative Ovals together.  I stamped the frame flourish atop to create a seamless picture.

Other products used: Papertrey Ink Scallop border, Webster's Pages designer paper, I Am Roses flowers, lace, and flat back pearls.

October birthday

Time for me to make another birthday card for a coworker turning 50.  I turned to the Cardabilities sketch #84 as my starting point.

The paper collection is Teresa Collins Memories.  Stamps by Papertrey Ink.  Added a handmade flower, ribbon, and a pearl spray.

Here is the sketch:

Prima Delight Birthday card

Just a quick share with you today.  I went for the shabby look with this card.  I received my Prima Delight goodies and wanted to create right away.  I used the Cardabilities sketch #81.

I stamped with Papertrey Ink, handmade some flowers, added Prima Say it in Crystals, and distressed the edges.

Thanks for taking a look!

Masculine 40th birthday card

Here is a card I made for a friend who turns 40 this month:

I used Bo Bunny's Timepiece 6x6 paper pad, and Papertrey Ink's stamps and numbers dies and tag.  I also added a metal hardware by Ingvild Bolme for Prima.

For the center panel, I grouped some birthday sentiments together and stamped a pattern for the background of the tag.  I also inked the edges with distress ink.

For the inside, I created a pocket for the gift card, and stamped a sentiment.

The small tag is die cut and stamped with Papertrey Ink.  Added some string to tie it together.

A Divine Birthday Card

I made this for a coworker who turned 50 this month.  I used the Cardabilities Sketch #77:

I used Prima's Divine 6x6 paper pad, flowers, note card, and chipboard piece.  I'm kind of bummed because I had made a video of myself creating this card, and my video program didn't save it.  And I have already given the card to her.

I created the little pendant with a Spare Parts metal which I painted, and stamped "D" (her initial) on pattern paper and added glossy accent.  Added a white I Am Roses flower, Recollections faux pearls, did some stamping, and the die cut for the number 50 is from Papertrey Ink.

Thanks for stopping by.
